Cogito

You are a god. They are people.

The world starts with one person. You rule no one: you give your believers a direction, hear their prayers and answer them as far as your power reaches. The rest they choose for themselves.

For Windows. In English and Turkish. $3 a month or $20 once.

How it plays

  1. You make your first believer

You pick their face, their temper, their skills. They wake alone by a fire and spend their first day as they see fit.

  2. You set a direction

You lean them towards survival, making things, exploring or each other. The choice stays theirs: the hungry think of food first, the stubborn do as they please.

  3. You answer prayers

The sick ask for healing, hunters for game. Your power comes from your believers' faith. At night you leave your spokesperson a word; by morning they spread it the way they understood it.

  4. Ages open up

Fifteen ages lie between a stone knife and an interstellar ship. When the door to a new one opens, whether to step through is up to you.

From the game

Hover over a picture or tap it to see the second frame.

The sun sets, the fire burns

A game day lasts a real hour and a season twenty days. Close the game and the world keeps going; when you come back the chronicle tells you what happened.

Everyone has a temper of their own

The hard worker won't drop the job, the generous one shares with anyone hungry. The person card shows who chose what, and why.

Prayers come to you

Who is praying and why, whom your spokesperson took as a disciple, how deep the faith runs: it is all in the faith window. You choose which prayer to answer.

Death is final

The dead don't come back. They are mourned, their things are shared out, and one day their name lives on in a newborn. Their soul waits in limbo for your judgement.

They write the story

Weddings, quarrels, hard winters, a baby's first smile. All of it goes into the chronicle, and you are not the one writing it.

Neighbouring worlds

Every world has one owner. Once the bridge between worlds opens, caravans, envoys and migrants will travel to and from other players' worlds.

Questions

Do I control the characters?

No. You never hand anyone a task. You give your believers a direction, set rules and answer prayers; what they do is their own decision. Those who don't believe in you never hear your word.

What happens when I close the game?

The world keeps going. When you return the days in between are worked out and the chronicle tells you who was born, who died and what was found.

Can someone who died come back?

No. You can heal the sick, but you cannot undo a death. The soul waits for you in limbo; you decide whether it goes to heaven or to hell.

Can I play in the same world as a friend?

No, every world has one owner. Once the bridge between worlds opens, caravans, envoys and migrants will move between neighbouring worlds. The bridge is still closed.

Do I need an AI key?

No. Characters decide with the game's own decision system. If you like, you can add your own key for richer storytelling; it gives no advantage in play and you pay for it yourself.

How do I stop my subscription?

Press "Stop renewing" on the account page, or in the game under Settings, Account. You keep playing until the month you paid for ends.

Which languages?

English and Turkish. You switch language on the game's Settings screen.
